Chickasaw Land Agreement
The Oxford Film Festival recognizes the traditional lands of the Chickasaw. Early in the 19th century, the Chickasaw inhabited the area that is now the City of Oxford. This changed on February 9, 1836, with the Chickasaw Indian Cession, a treaty that instigated the removal of most of the Indians in North Mississippi. Code of Conduct
The Oxford Film Festival celebrates film, the variety of stories shared through cinema, and the diversity of audiences and creators who love movies. As a community-oriented event, we aim to provide a safe, harassment-free environment for everyone, where participants can enjoy a range of films and events that inspire, engage, and foster meaningful dialogue.
To ensure this, the Oxford Film Festival reserves the right to revoke admission from anyone who behaves disruptively or impairs others' enjoyment of the festival.
