Kate Bishop

In 2017, Kate Bishop moved back to her hometown of Oxford with her family to start Chicory Market, a community grocery store on a mission to help grow the local food economy and provide a space for people of all income levels to access healthy food.

Together with her husband, Kate manages 70-something staff members at work and two adorable adolescents at home. Kate is a reader, a bath-taker and a very messy gardener. She’s also passionate about fostering creative spaces in Oxford that honor the diversity of our community.
