Kent Jackson
Kent Jackson is an Ole Miss graduate with a BA in English. After college he worked in the mortgage software industry for 20 years. During that time he served in many different roles managing or working with software teams to solve business problems.
In 2011 he took a year long hiatus to fulfill his Army National Guard duties and served as a combat engineer in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan.
In 2020 he left the corporate world to work with his wife (Corinne Jackson) on their small retail business in Oxford, Mississippi. Since that time, they have opened two additional stores. They pride themselves on being active members of the community and support dozens of local events, charities, and organizations. Kent also volunteers weekly with a charity called Lovepacks that focuses on providing food to school age children.
Kent has a love for stories in all kinds of mediums but especially loves movies. One of his favorite movies of all time is a film called "M for Mississippi" which is a documentary about the blues in the Mississippi Delta.
